New integration connects clinical documentation with digital claims management, reducing administrative burden and supporting faster payments for consultants.
Private consultants in Ireland will soon be able to move from consultation to completed claim with significantly less administration, following a new partnership between iMedDoc, by Lanas, and MedoSync.
The integration will connect clinical documentation directly with MedoSync’s digital claims management platform, allowing clinical information to flow directly into a claims process designed to improve accuracy and speed up payments.
MedoSync’s technology already helps consultants submit claims seamlessly and capture the revenue they’re owed, revenue they might otherwise lose to billing errors and missed claims. iMedDoc currently has over 1000 consultants using its practice management software across Ireland, creating a strong foundation for the new integration.
For many practices, the consultation is only part of the work. Documentation, billing, and practice administration continue long after the patient leaves. This partnership is designed to simplify the workflow between clinical documentation and billing.
Work on the technology integration is underway. Once available, clinical information captured in iMedDoc will flow automatically into MedoSync’s platform for claims and billing management, creating a more connected workflow, improving accuracy, and reducing administrative effort.
“Private consultants are under real pressure to run efficient practices without sacrificing time with patients. This partnership is focused on removing a layer of administrative work that has traditionally sat between a consultation and a claim. We’re delighted to be working with MedoSync to deliver another connected workflow that delivers practical value for the consultants and their teams who use iMedDoc everyday.”
Dr Seán Higgins, Chief Product Officer, Lanas
“Billing works best when it starts with high-quality clinical information. By integrating with iMedDoc, we’re giving private consultants a direct path from consultation to claim – accurate, fast, and with significantly less manual effort for both the clinician and their administrative team. We’re delighted to be working with Lanas to bring this to market.”
Dr Martin Rochford, CEO, MedoSync
The integration will be available from autumn 2026, with further details shared ahead of launch.
